01 / THE STORY
More search visibility became website visits
For an eye-care practice, a search result is an opportunity to introduce its procedures, locations and doctors. The next useful step is the click that brings someone to the website. LaserVue’s historical Google Search Console data shows a clear improvement in that step.
The clinic received 1,425 clicks from Google Web search during April 22–May 19, 2026. The preceding 28 days, March 25–April 21, recorded 1,026. That is 399 additional search clicks, a 38.9% increase. These figures come from Google’s own report rather than a third-party traffic estimate.
02 / THE STORY
The improvement went beyond impression volume
Impressions increased from 281,022 to 298,419, a gain of 6.2%. Clicks grew faster than impressions. The aggregate click-through rate rose from 0.365% to 0.478%, meaning more of the reported search appearances became clicks.
The result measures the whole property, including branded and non-branded searches, informational content and location pages. It demonstrates greater search traffic; it does not establish how many of those visitors booked a consultation.
03 / THE STORY
Search work within a larger website improvement program
Timpson Marketing’s documented work for LaserVue included correcting missing page headings, consolidating duplicate doctor URLs and improving physician information in structured data. The aim was to make the practice’s pages and relationships clearer to both visitors and search engines.
A substantial set of these changes shipped on May 11, during the final nine days of the measured period. The comparison captures the overall movement in search traffic, and does not attribute the entire increase to that release.
04 / THE STORY
A dated gain with the comparison kept visible
Both periods contain 28 consecutive days with the same weekday composition and no overlap. They are the latest complete 28-day window in the May 21 export and the immediately preceding window. The dates were selected by that rule, not around a traffic spike.
The wider export also supports the direction: clicks rose from 1,669 to 2,089 across the two latest equal 44-day periods, February 21–April 5 and April 6–May 19. This remains a historical spring result. A later June review described mild organic drift, so the spring increase should not be read as uninterrupted growth through the summer or a statement of current performance.
