TIMPSON MARKETING / Early search traction case study

From 4 to 30 organic search sessions.

A new self-storage business began building its search audience. Sentinel Storage recorded 30 organic search sessions in the latest completed 28 days, compared with 4 in the preceding 28 days.

01 / THE STORY

Give a new business a useful search presence

Sentinel Storage serves self-storage customers in Colorado City, Arizona. Its early website needed to explain what customers could store, show the available options and make the next step clear.

Timpson Marketing rewrote the homepage around the facility's services, added dedicated RV, boat and UTV storage information, and built a units-and-pricing page. The June 24 release also added page descriptions and improved the map and contact pages. Later launch work corrected the unit information and enabled online rental.

02 / THE STORY

Make the traffic measurable

The initial analytics setup contained a bare tracking ID rather than a working tracking snippet. On July 10, we repaired that setup and verified that the tag fired. We also verified Search Console, submitted the sitemap and connected it with Analytics.

That repair defines the measurement boundary. The property has no comparable 2025 traffic history, so this case uses two completed 28-day periods after the repair: July 23–August 19 and August 20–September 16, 2026.

03 / THE STORY

An early audience started to grow

Organic Search sessions increased from 4 to 30. Of those visits, 25 met Google's engagement criteria in the later period, compared with 3 earlier. Organic engagement rate moved from 75% to 83.33%.

The starting numbers are small, and the business was in its launch period. The useful result is the measured movement from a handful of search visits toward a more active search audience. It is too early to treat the percentage increase as an established growth rate.

04 / THE STORY

Keep the next milestone tied to business outcomes

The report recorded no key events in either period. These figures therefore establish website activity, not inquiries, occupied units or rental revenue. The next measurement step is to connect that growing search audience with verified customer actions while continuing to track comparable periods.

Source & scope

Google Analytics 4 Traffic acquisition, reviewed September 17, 2026. Consecutive completed 28-day periods; Organic Search channel.

July 23–August 19 versus August 20–September 16, 2026. GA4, Organic Search, All Users. Small starting baseline; tracking was repaired July 10. Sessions are website visits, not leads or rentals. This is a recent-period comparison, not year-over-year growth.
