01 / THE STORY

A wider marketing program, measured together

The Pavement Group markets commercial pavement services to a business audience. Its website sits within a wider program that includes advertising, brand work, search and technical improvements. Timpson Marketing contributes SEO and technical work alongside the client's other marketing partners.

To understand the overall change in website activity, we compared June 19 through September 16, 2026 with the same 90 calendar days in 2025. This case describes the combined website result; it does not assign every channel's performance to a single agency or tactic.

02 / THE STORY

The audience grew, and engagement grew faster

Google Analytics recorded 21,314 sessions in 2026 versus 9,932 in 2025. That is 11,382 additional visits and a 114.6% increase.

Engaged sessions rose from 3,264 to 10,276, a 214.8% increase. The share of sessions meeting Google's engagement criteria moved from 32.86% to 48.21%. The later period therefore recorded both more visits and a higher proportion of engaged visits.

03 / THE STORY

Where the increase came from

The channel breakdown matters. Cross-network sessions rose from 191 to 9,380, and Paid Search sessions rose from 166 to 2,195. Direct sessions increased from 1,836 to 3,388. These changes show how strongly the overall result was influenced by the wider channel mix.

Organic Search moved in the other direction: 2,835 sessions in the earlier period versus 2,071 in the later period, a 26.9% decline. The growth in total traffic should therefore be read as a broader marketing result. It would not support a claim that SEO traffic doubled.

04 / THE STORY

A bigger audience is a useful milestone

The recorded gain gives The Pavement Group a larger website audience, with more of those sessions meeting Analytics' engagement criteria. For a commercial service business, that is a meaningful stage in the path from awareness to an inquiry.

The next business measures are qualified opportunities and completed work. This report does not establish those outcomes, compare advertising spend, or prove a return on investment. It documents growth in total and engaged website sessions while keeping the channel context visible.
