01 / THE STORY
The gap between a form and a conversation
God’s Movers had a live WordPress website while its owners used GoDaddy Conversations to handle customer inquiries. The original quote handler sent notifications to the regular business inbox; it did not connect those website requests to the Conversations channel.
That distinction matters. A success message on a website is not enough to show that the person handling the inquiry has seen it.

Connecting the working inbox
Timpson added the Conversations email channel as a second quote-notification recipient. We also added a record of notification attempts and intended recipients to the saved quote requests in WordPress.
The change connected the public form to the channel the team used, while providing a way to investigate notification issues from a saved record.

Testing the full path
On September 1, two clearly labeled test requests were submitted through the public form and saved in WordPress. The second recorded a successful mail attempt to both intended destinations. The owner confirmed receiving both tests.
During later notification adjustments, the Conversations route was temporarily removed at the owner’s request on September 14. It was restored on September 15, and a new labeled test was observed directly in the GoDaddy Conversations inbox. This retest verified the restored route; it was not a newly discovered failure left by a previous provider.

What the result means
The documented result is a working notification connection demonstrated with labeled tests, plus an audit trail for troubleshooting. Those tests are not new customer leads. A successful send attempt alone is not proof of delivery; the owner’s confirmation and observed inbox arrival provide the stronger evidence here.
The record still identified spam-placement work for the separate business inbox. We therefore do not claim that every email-delivery path or mobile notification was resolved. The case shows the value of checking the path from form submission to the inbox people actually use.
